A Case of the Mundaiz

I'm finding it impossible to concentrate on anything today. I've had a splitting headache since I walked through the door this morning, and I think that I'm going to have to head home a little on the early side for a nap.

I took some Tylenol, and it's doing less than nothing.

On a more cheerful note, I had an amazing weekend, so here's some bullet points:

*Friday Night : The Absinthe Drinkers show in New Hope. Good Music + Great Friends + Half Nekked Gurls = teh HAWESOME. Okthankyoudrivethrough.

*Saturday Night : The Joe Trainor Trio Benefit concert to support Juvenile Diabetes Research. The JT3 just never fail to please, and I was thrilled to have my folks come down from PA as well as lotusanddragon's parents up from GA. to see the show. It was the first time that my folks got a chance to see xtingu sing live (she and Matt Casarino opened the show), and the just gushed after the show. What's more, they weren't the only ones who had tons of positive feedback. I know everyone involved is amazing (JT3 + Jill + Matt), but it's really nice to hear it from others. Seeing the look of "Why the hell aren't they gazillionaires yet?" look in the audience faces was more than a little fun.

*Sunday Night : Managed to get lotusanddragon's old(ish) machine up and running with a fresh install of XP so that he could get some time sensitive stuff done. Also? Ate a delicious dinner with his folks at Takumi (formerly Utage) Love me some sushi - and this was excellent.
