Lovely...

... I broke another tooth last night.

There are few things I hate more in this world than going to the dentist. This 6'2" biker turns into a wimpering little girl in seconds at the dentist. They shoot me up with about eight times more novacaine than 'normal' people, and I'm still tearing the arms off the chair. It's worse with the bottom teeth than the top.

I broke one of the bottom teeth.

Stupid stupid banana chips.

there's a really good dentist office right over the bridge in NJ that I go to. They specialize in folks that are terrified. And folks that never went to the dentist for most of their childhood and adult life, but now need a mouth makeover. Check out their testimonies.

I'm now a huge baby about going to the dentist and I have to admit that they are good. They have all kinds of things there to try to relax you and if you are really bad (and have a lot of work to get done), they can put you under and do it. They are really good with pain management (during procedures) and they don't man-handle your mouth.

They are the Centre for Dentistry...

You're probably one of the unlucky few folks who are unaffected by novacaine. There ARE alternative pain meds, but your dentist needs to know you'll need them and needs to be one of the creative, informed types who knows there are alternatives. I'd recommend my step-cousin Kristy, but her office is in Seattle. NJ is much closer.

I am really sorry to hear this. Let's check to see if the aforementioned dentist is on your list of providers.

I am also laughing o'er "Stupid stupid banana chips." That is hilarious. :-)

My dad broke a tooth on liver'n'onions, and it wasn't the liver part, neither.
