iAngry

Just watched I, Frankenstein.

How was it? The thought occurred to me several times during the movie that the late teens/early 20s version of me - you know, the angry individual that came up with the concept of Patch - would have made this movie if he had the resources.

What's more, that version of me would have thought that it was COMPLETELY BAD ASS, and would have been saying the angry one liners along with Mr. Eckhart with passion.

It was awful.

There were some great ideas. Some solid acting. Some adequate  special effects. (Of course they were over done because some executive somewhere was sure that they would bring the crowds back for more.) One painfully long 'slow mo walkin in front of explosions cuz I'm a badass' battle scene. Some writing that was so bad it took you out of the movie because you were making an effort not to laugh out loud.

If you're an angry teenager though, I'm sure you will love it. I certainly would have. What's more, I would be lying if I said that there was no part of me that still did.

I think we all still have angry teenager days

Absolutely.

This is LONG. It's almost 20 minutes long. However, its length makes it more worthwhile.

Save the link or put it under "Watch Later" or whatever floats your boat, but trust me that this is 100% worth listening to. It's a beautiful description of How Horrible Movies Get Made.

Added. (Sorry for the delay - just saw this.)

I saw previews and was debating big screen (for better explosions) or Redbox, for $1.52 rental. Thank you for helping with that decision. :)

Glad I could help with the really important stuff.
