LOL - I'm so glad these have infected you like they infected me and my friends a few years ago. Did you see all the other ones? My favorite is the one with Snow Job and the kids on the iced-over pond. I can still get a half dozen people in a room to quote it out of reflex at any random moment, even if they're engrossed in conversation. They don't even think about it, and they can't help it. You start it, they'll finish it. It's like Pavlov's Bell, except G.I. Joe Nonsense.

That rewls. I love when you have the ability to get people to do things compulsively. What fun what fun! Great icon, btw. del Torro was on NPR tonight in an interview. Only caught a few seconds, but it was really interesting stuff. Didn't find anything on the WHYY site (http://www.whyy.org) but I also didn't look real deep.

Yeah - a million years ago, xtingu saw them, saved that one and showed it to me fairly recently. We didn't think that they were online anymore (something about the legality of 'derivative works' but when I saw that particular PSA I had to post it!

Yeah - they all rock pretty hard, but the one I posted was one of the two that xtingu showed me a while back to introduce me to the series.

I love that ice pond one. Every once in a while I'll just yell "GIVE HIM THE STICK! DON'T GIVE HIM THE STICK!" and someone will reply with a ghostly "OOOOOoOooooOooooooOHHH!"

YES! YOU UNDERSTAND! That's exactly the part I was talking about. I can be in a room - as I was after my firends' wedding this Saturday, in the after-party hotel room - and say "Give him the {whatever noun we want to use at the time}, DON'T give him the {aforementioned noun}..........OooohhHHhhhooooOOOooohhhhHH.

It works every time. It's frightening. And fantastic.

The whole cognitive dissonance of that line makes me giggle. Every time. I haven't spoken the "Give him the {noun}...DON'T GIVE HIM THE {NOUN}!" bit in a while, but reading this I knew exactly where y'all were going.
