first ssshhhtuff of 2006
Jan. 5th, 2006 10:04 pmWell kids, it's finally up - something new for 2006.
I'm working on a piece of fiction that I think that I posted before. Not sure though. It's "a Patch Story" that is really just 'filler'. That is to say that it's just something to give more flava to ol' Patch through a little trick that my bud Quito pointed out a while back. I'm breaking down the short story and segmenting it into panels so that I might actually do a mini-comic. No - this isn't really for publication or anything - more just for me to be able to say that I did it.
( cut for potential spoilers )

Sep. 5th, 2005 11:21 pmHappy 21st Birthday to my youngest brother Josh. Be safe - but have the kind of fun that people talk about for decades to come. I can just see a couple of 21 year olds at whatever place you go to - and they're talking to the bar-tender.
"You two have got a few things to learn... there was this one group that came in a few years ago...."
You're the best bro.

Aug. 6th, 2005 02:56 amS'funny the things I think of in the wee hours of the morn.
I used to keep a quote book once apon a time. I would have people enter quotes in it if I liked them. It could be any kind of quote really. It could be one already stated by someone famous or not famous. It could be something completely made up on the spot. It could be about me or it could be about the person writing the quote. It could be about both or neither. Whatever - it just had to be what they wanted to write in my quote book.
What would you write?
I'm thinking of a poem that my 'little sister' wrote for me many many years ago. I can't for the life of me remember the words to the poem itself. I just remember the title: I'm Mad at Midnight for the Things I Didn't Do. Sarah? You knew me well and I miss you kiddo.

Aug. 5th, 2005 03:20 pmOkay - I know that this is (typically for me) late in the game, but I wanted to post quickly about some really fun stuff going on here in the ol' Lehigh Valley this weekend should any of you desire to join myself and co. for said events.
Musikfest - looks to be a blast this year, though it actually looks like the best of the shows will be next weekend. I'm on call that weekend, but that shouldn't stop me from most events since I wouldn't be going out to calls at night anyway.
Das Awkscht Fescht - this is for those classic car buffs out there. It's also just down the street from my house.
There are, of course, a bevy of other interesting things to be done in and around the area - both family friendly and otherwise. Just let me know if any/all of you are interested. I'm quite certain that the sexy/cool
kar0na and her handsome/suave mate
metikulos will be available for some portion of the weekend - so you might all get to meet them as an added bonus.
I'm pretty sure I've got
xtingu conned... I mean umm... con-vinced! to come into town for some portion of the weekend - so things is already looking up says me.

Jul. 20th, 2005 10:14 pmAnd (as per
shellefly 's request) - here's a list of upcoming stuff I plan/hope to attend in case anyone else is interested:
7-22 / 7-24 :: Jill Y is free and since she's just about 45 minutes from Wilmington, I need to get together with her soon. Nevermind the want part. If you know what this girl will do to me if we don't hang out soon... well... then... you'll understand. *shakes off the violet chills*
7-23 Gaming :: This is a sorta 'closed event' - but I wanted to post it here so folks would know that I have it booked from early(ish) in the day to 8 or 10(again with the ish).
7-23 Game Night @
shellefly 's :: Okay - so maybe I won't be making it in time for the actual gaming, but it sounds like there may be some Rocky Horror action later in the evening. Anyone up for a little trek to do some toasting?
7-24 Landscaping @ Quito's Place :: This is (as yet) unconfirmed - don't know what M and K have on their plates for this weekend - but I promised to do some work so if they're free... and I'm in their neck of the woods...
7-30 American Heritage Road Tour :: I've never managed to make it to this run, but this year will be different. Here's the link - http://www.americanheritageroadtour.com/ It's obviously a very worthwhile cause and I would love to have as many of you lovely people along for the ride (forgive the pun) as possible.
Now then - off to save the world.
Or maybe I'll just chat with
kar0na some more.
