Words of Wisdom from the Grandmaster

I recently found an old notebook of mine in which I jotted down some thoughts originally put out by the Grandmaster of the style of ninjutsu that I used to study. Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi
Thought I would share them since I know some of you nuts might appreciate them:
(Actually - I'm not sure this first one was by Dr. Hatsumi - but most of these are)
Use your creativity as a first means of preventing danger.
When you can not prevent, avoid.
When you can not avoid, confuse.
When you can not confuse, dissuade.
When you can not dissuade, hurt.
When you can not hurt, injure.
When you can not injure, maim.
Only when the scheme of totality demands you be its messenger, kill.
And another:
"There are times when strength is really a weakness, laughter is power. In is Yo and innocence is wisdom."
"A warm spring wind breezes through the heart of all who forget their grudges, and in those hearts love grows."
