Portraits Experiment -
lafemmekatia's image - stage 2
Feb. 28th, 2007 06:20 pmI'm trying not to jump the gun here. Part of this experiment is to get me to stick with an image until I've done what I set out to do, and I have to say that I'm fighting that urge now. My instinct is to do quick sketchwork, and if it's not where I want it to be? Drop it and move on. Hopefully I can get through a simple one more hour, and then I can sink my proverbial teeth into the next image.
As always, I would love to get all of your comments/thoughts/recommendations.

Date: 2007-03-01 02:23 am (UTC)in looking at the photo I see or at least I think I see a shorter distance between her left shoulder and the side of her head, or maybe the two masses are greater. In your portrait she looks younger and stronger because her neck seems longer and the shoulder seems more broad, less rounded. also seems like her hair is bigger on that side.
