the question is, by studying our audience to find out what it is they want, are we allowing our audience to dictate our art? or shouldn't we just create what we want/need to and hope they can catch up? or home we're stumbling on a universal truth which is what they want to see/hear?
this makes my chest tighten up. anxiety attack? what do audiences really want? AAAGGGHHHHH!!!!!
