48 Hour Film Project

I just wanted to jot a quick note to let everyone know that Wes, Mark, Tom, and myself made it, finished dumping the film to mini dv and drove to the drop off point with time to spare. Our movie is in, we're celebrating, and life is gooood. Thanks soo much to those who helped - in so many ways - to make this happen. It means a lot to me, and I already feel like we're a complete success because of the quality of film that we managed to pull off in JUST forty - eight - hours. You guys rule, and I am ridiculously lucky to have friends like you. :)

I have been sitting here at home wondering how it all went. Thanks for updating me!

I was thinking earlier today how wonderful my friends are, how amazing it was to see all of you coaching and encouraging Archer to be the Great Actor he wants to be, and how fantastically Lindsay pulled together the elements of who we are and what we find funny to make such an amazing script. We win. We TOTALLY win.

Yeah - there's a lot that I was sad to see go, but Tom was (thank the gods!) merciless in his editing. I'd like to give him some serious props here, because I'm pretty sure that if it was me in charge of the editing we would have been invalidated by my hemming and hawing over every little thing.

He's a champ, and I think that we ended up with the tightest, most concise and clean - while remaining awesome - movie we could have made.

I can't wait to work on the next one - I think that we may have found a new addiction for Yours Truly.
