You know? You're right. I hadn't thought about it exactly but there was something... off about how he opened the can. And he was kinda tripping over his own words - like he was unsure of himself.
Maybe he was having a crisis of faith right there on the spot.
I actually got it from brokencow who's post (here) (http://brokencow.livejournal.com/425158.html) included some other stuff including a similar video but I thought that one was sufficient to show my trauma without exactly copying his post. :)
I think that the video is a joke. I think that the people filmed in the video probably don't. Though I could see your friends being right too, I know some religious zealots who would agree right along with the video and that's enough to make me terrified.
I absolutely LOVE the fact that the cornerstone of the argument of religious yabos in this video is a jar of peanut butter. That's SO much more convincing than actual science, let me just say.
