I just wanted to post a quick little PSA for all you folks who try to emphasize what you're saying in an email with multiple punctuation marks.

Do not.

When I read something like "Where are you?!?!?!!!!!!???" or "I need this installed ASAP!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE??????" it pretty much gets bumped to the end of my to-do list.

I think Terry Pratchett once said that anyone who uses multiple exclamation points or punctuation marks pretty much wears underpants on their head. so everytime I get one of those e-mails or text messages, I instantly think, "Underpants on head."
