I used to keep a quote book once apon a time. I would have people enter quotes in it if I liked them. It could be any kind of quote really. It could be one already stated by someone famous or not famous. It could be something completely made up on the spot. It could be about me or it could be about the person writing the quote. It could be about both or neither. Whatever - it just had to be what they wanted to write in my quote book.
What would you write?
I'm thinking of a poem that my 'little sister' wrote for me many many years ago. I can't for the life of me remember the words to the poem itself. I just remember the title: I'm Mad at Midnight for the Things I Didn't Do. Sarah? You knew me well and I miss you kiddo.

Date: 2005-08-08 04:04 am (UTC)You have taught me an incredibly valuable lesson; one that I don't think I would have been receptive to learning otherwise. Yet, you made it so simple.
In a day-- a short simple day-- I was freed.
Even if I never see you ever again (which, of course, would be a tragedy), your intersection through my life will always be acknowledged as pivotal. You sir, are cherished.
Thank you.
