The joke is a reference to the movie 300. The line is actually in the
previews ("Madness? This is SPAR-TA!").

The idea was to say that the house has a bit too much testosterone
every now and then. :)

That and the fact that I just like the idea of naming the strip 1100.

I'm actually not ever planning on doing it regularly. That could change, but right now I just want to do some things that have been floating in my back brain for a number of years.
